Aliza is here!!

We welcomed our 2nd sweet second girl at 11:05 Oct 30th. Aliza was 6.14 lbs, 19 inches long and perfect! We are both doing so good. Even though we had a planned c-section I skipped out of the hospital a day early! I was so happy to be home on Halloween night! I wanted so badly to be home to see out big girl go out trick or treating! 

My doctor is beyond amazing and knew I wanted to be home. Also, I recovered so well the first time she knew I know the ropes :)

Aliza's nursery

I must say I am pretty darn proud of this room! I have sewn and crafted everything in it! I love the color combo so much. They only thing I didn't do is paint the walls... That was daddy's job! I love the stripes :) Here is the big reveal. 

* I do have to thank our sweet neighbors/friends for letting us borrow their daughters crib and changing table. I wanted white furtuire so bad and they were moving H out of her crib and offered it to us! Her husband refurbished the crib and changing table. It is

Beautiful!!!  

This is the week we welcome Sweet Aliza! I can't wait! My inlaws got here today and now it feels official! So ready to meet our tiny princess!! 

Aliza's Sprinkle

My sweet friend, Rebecca, threw me a sprinkle this past Sunday. It was so sweet of her to offer. Even though we are having another little princess we have quite a bit of stuff to buy still. I totally forgot about all that small stuff!  I sold my swing, bouncy, bathtub, and boppy pillow... So I had already replaced those. I had yet to buy any diapers really and bath stuff!! 

This is sweet Rebecca. She even busted out a diaper cake!! So impressed because if you knew her you would know she doesn't have small children nor does she want any. She is a dedicated momma to 5-6 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 3 step-daughters. 

Anyhow, the sprinkle was a blast! It was held at a restaurant. We had the party room reserved.  My sweet friends who happen to be mostly my neighbor girls were all there! We ate, chatted, and drank (for those who could) haha. It was so relaxed and almost just felt like a great girl lunch! We did get some sweet gifts! I am feeling a bit more prepared. 

* I always fee l bad when I don't take enough photos or leave someone out, both the case here! I can't believe I didn't get the whole group in the photo! I must remember to take one at the start of

I have yet to pack a bag.. I have a few days left. Since I am pretty sure I am not going to go into labor on my own I am not too worried. I do have some stuff laid out in her crib, though :) 

This next week I am working on getting her nursery done, cleaning up the guest room,  cleaning every squareinch 

Of my house and playing/ spending time with Amelia . 

34 weeks

I am getting caught up on baby Aliza posts! :) 

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along:   34 weeks 

Size of baby:  18inches and little over 4lbs 

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  22 lbs 

Maternity Clothes:  jeans.. But mostly

Normal shirts :) 

Gender:  girl - Aliza Kay-Marie

Movement: Baby girl moves a lot  :) 

Sleep: better lately but up at least once 

Symptoms:  sore legs and back. Having a hard time sleeping 

What I miss:  being able to walk without getting worn out 

Cravings: cold drinks, subway,  sweets any carbs , ICE

Best Moment this week:   Her room

Is painted and bedding is done! 

What I am looking forward to:  having maternity photos done in a few days.

Size of baby:  17 inches and little over 4lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  20 lbs 

Maternity Clothes:  jeans.. But mostly

Movement: Baby girl moves a lot  :) 

Sleep: better lately but up at least once 

Symptoms:  sore legs and back. Lots and lots of contractions... I can usually get them under control 

What I miss:  being able to walk without getting worn out 

Cravings: cold drinks, subway,  sweets any carbs 

Best Moment this week:   We have Aliza's birthday set! I am almost done with her bedding! 

What I am looking forward to:  getting her room put together. I am getting anxious because of the contractions. Hopefully she holds out a bit longer! 

I am seriously in LOVE with Aliza's bedding. I can't believe it turned out how I wanted it! I have never made baby bedding and didn't have a pattern. I just went with it. I usually do this with outfits too. I think I lucked out!! :) 

 

So looking forward to working on getting her room finished. Daddy has been working hard on painting of the room. My master plan for this stencil I had been set on really isn't working. :/. So we move to "plan B".  Either way I know I will love the room. It will all work out!

Baby 2

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along:   30 weeks 

Size of baby:  15.5 inches and 3lbs

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  + 18lbs 

Maternity Clothes:  some but mostly my own clothes 

Gender:  girl ..  Aliza Kay-Marie 

Movement: Baby girl moves a lot  :) 

Sleep: better lately but up at least once 

Symptoms:  sore legs and leg cramps at night and getting really tired fast

What I miss:  being able to walk without getting worn out 

Cravings: cold drinks, sweets and any carbs are always what I want! 

Best Moment this week:  got the paint and cleared out her room!! 

What I am looking forward to:  when we officially schedule the birth! Painting/finishing her nursery. 

24 weeks with baby 2

Maternity Clothes:  some already but mostly my own clothes

Movement: Baby girl moves a lot  :) 

Sleep: better lately but up at least once 

Symptoms:  sore legs and leg cramps at night 

What I miss:  being able to walk without getting worn out 

Cravings: cold drinks, subway, chick-fli-a salads , any carbs 

Best Moment this week: amelia has started to come up and run baby sister and tell her "I love you, baby!" Priceless

What I am looking forward to:  my mom and sister coming to visit and getting baby's room started!

Weeks 7-14 baby #2

Lets just say this pregnancy started a little rough and scary. I was sick before I even was for sure I was pregnant and it hasn't really slowed down any. It is all worth it though and the Zofran is very helpful. :)
Beside being sick all day I had some scary spotting between 8.5 wk-10wk. I was terrified. I had some earlier on too. I ended up calling the "on call center" the weekend of Easter to make sure I didn't need go to the ER. The nurse told me to stay completely of my feet for the weekend . It just so happened Deric's family were on their way for the week so we had lots of help with Amelia and keeping the old house clean (we are
Trying to sell it)!
My doctor saw me first thing Monday morning and she thought I was popping blood vessels. I was on a mild bed rest for a few weeks. I did go to work and sat on a stools most of the day while I did hair! But I was off of work for a week and a half . It worked out pretty good. Thankfully once I hit 11-12 week the bleeding had stopped and I felt pretty normal besides the pukey days.
Here are some ultrasound photos and bump photos I have so far. I am going to start my normal weekly photos this week. I have to add this funny story. When we had our first ultrasound at 6.5 weeks Amelia shouted "my baby sister in the HOLE!!" Deric and I about died with laughter! She still insists she is having a baby sister! We may know this week!

Big news :)

We have some major news at the Bidwell house! We are expecting our second sweet baby this fall!! Amelia is beyond thrilled about her new role as big sister! We are thankful for another sweet babe. This time around has been rough for this momma but I am doing much better these days. I am 14.5 weeks along and totally have been slacking on updates. I will get to that this week!
Besides the new baby we MOVED!! We stayed in the same area. We just double the size if our house... I mean two kids... We needed a bigger space! We LOVE LoVE our new home! It is beautiful!! We moved in April 27th and working on putti g it away. I will show you a few sneak peeks but if you follow me in Instagram you have seen them! :)
