5 Months

Amelia you are FIVE  months old today!!! I just can't believe it... I mean you were just born yesterday! :)
You continue to make us fall more in love with you everyday. We love you so much... I don't know if you will ever know how much of my heart belongs to you. There are days I am perfectly happy to sit, hold, and watch you all day long.

Here are your 5 month stats

~You weigh 12.5 lbs

~Size 2 diaper, still the smallest setting on your cloth diapers

~Eating Veggies, Fruit and of course Breastmilk

~Drink 4 to 6 oz depends on your food intake
~ Nursing every 3 hours
~Eat Fruit/Cereal Mix in the morning, Veggies in the afternoon, and Veggies/Fruit/Cereal Mix at night
just depends what we think you would want!
~You LOVE your food.. you grunt/talk while you eat

~Wearing 3 month clothes still

~You were still in the 5%  at your 4 month check up

~Sleeping a bit better.... we miss our all night sleeper. You are getting up at least once a night sometimes 2x!

~You are a belly sleeper.... always roll over on to it

~ You are rolling all over the place

~ Grabbing at toys, books and your toes really well

~Have gotten your knees up under you

~Have maters the back scoot... you push off of anything to scoot

~ You are trying so hard to sit up on your own... you get some really good crunches in everyday!
~You are such a happy baby... Smiling all the time
~LOVE to get attention from strangers!

~ Talking baby girl... you get mad when we don't talk back to you

~ Love when you get read and sang too

~Love watching Cartoons on the Ipad :)

~ Still loving your jump-a-roo and swing

~ Still love to be out and about... love your car seat/stroller

I still can't believe that I am lucky enough to be your Mommy!! I cherish everyday with you! You are growing WAY to fast and I don't want to miss anything!  We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy, content sweet girl. Even when you act like a Diva we love you. I may laugh a little when you cry because it is pretty pathetic!  

Bye bye long hair!

So today was the big day! I cut 10 inches off my hair!!! I couldn't be more happy... I am loving it!!










I can't wait to play with my new hair!! It will be fun !!! It reminds me of my before marriage hair!!!

Random thought

I have been thinking about cutting my hair. I have ALWAYS has short hair when I was younger. When Deric asked me to marry him I started growing it out for our wedding.
I really like my long hair but lately it is just looking like..... Blah! It is falling out in chunks (thanks hormones and my baby who pulls handfuls out). I thought about cutting it last summer but chickened out. I don't think I was truly ready. This year I just may do it. As I type this Amelia is yanking on my hair as she is playing on the floor. Nice, I just lost 30 more strands!

I just need my full hair back and some spunk!

3/4 Months Pictures

Before we left for Florida I had my wonderful friend take Amelia's photos. We kept having to push them back because of our stinkin weather we had in NWA. But the day we took them was beautiful and the photos turned out perfect!!  Thanks Candace!
