Lets just say this pregnancy started a little rough and scary. I was sick before I even was for sure I was pregnant and it hasn't really slowed down any. It is all worth it though and the Zofran is very helpful. :)
Beside being sick all day I had some scary spotting between 8.5 wk-10wk. I was terrified. I had some earlier on too. I ended up calling the "on call center" the weekend of Easter to make sure I didn't need go to the ER. The nurse told me to stay completely of my feet for the weekend . It just so happened Deric's family were on their way for the week so we had lots of help with Amelia and keeping the old house clean (we are
Trying to sell it)!
My doctor saw me first thing Monday morning and she thought I was popping blood vessels. I was on a mild bed rest for a few weeks. I did go to work and sat on a stools most of the day while I did hair! But I was off of work for a week and a half . It worked out pretty good. Thankfully once I hit 11-12 week the bleeding had stopped and I felt pretty normal besides the pukey days.
Here are some ultrasound photos and bump photos I have so far. I am going to start my normal weekly photos this week. I have to add this funny story. When we had our first ultrasound at 6.5 weeks Amelia shouted "my baby sister in the HOLE!!" Deric and I about died with laughter! She still insists she is having a baby sister! We may know this week!

iPhone dump
I figured it was time to do a phone dump post. I am sure most of my readers have seen these photos already... Oh well :)
Girl has a few sweet valentines outfits. She is getting excited about v-day!
She practice doing her make-up the other day. Practice makes perfect right?
Last Friday night we had our MOPS craft night. Emily and I were in charge of it. It was a long fun night making family rule boards. I figured out my stroller was a huge help loading things to the car and back!
Here is my board before I finished it all the way. I had my board done a few weeks before craft night so I could help the ladies do theirs. It was so much fun seeing everyone boards!
This little lady loves playing in the sink! I was happy to let her! I was running out of ideas to keep her happy.
After bath family photo :)
This was yesterday at Hobby Lobby. She found that hat and wore it the whole time.. We bought it. She kept saying "ye-yah! Getty-up, Cowboy" throwing her hat up in the air. It was awesome. I was cracking up the whole time. She also sang "Mickey and Donald had a farm" for everyone around us.
Thursday after nap play-date. Moments before Sawyer hit her square in the head and she pushed him a few times. Don't let the photo fool you. These cuties love each other but fight like siblings.
Today we had a lunch date at CFA. Amelia finally climbed up the play thing. I had to go in after her... Then forced to stay. She had a blast as long as I was right there and if we didn't go down the slide. She usually LOVES to slide but only if it is an open slide.
Jenny, Saw-Dog, and Amelia like monkeys in a cage :)
We have a birthday party tomorrow for our friend, Lincoln. He loves super heroes... So I made him his very own cape and mask. We gave it to him today. His Momma reports he kept it on for a long time. Deric saw the super-hero getting the mail when he came home from work. I say Lincoln may like it.
I did make Amelia and Sawyer one also. I will get s picture of the three super-heroes together :)

Life lately
I have been really bad about posting to my little blog. I think about it almost everyday but I don't take the time to blog. It is hard for me some days because Amelia usually wants to "help" if I am at my laptop and she basically owns my mini IPad I got for Christmas! I am always busy I feel like I have days I never stop! I am either keeping up with Amelia, trying to do housework, cook, work at the the salon and get a little "me" time in.
To add to the madness of my days I decided around Halloween that I would "try" to sell some of my baby/toddler outfits. Little did I know how fast it would take off. I was a little overwhelmed with Christmas orders but it was the first time I had ever did it. Now that I have a bit of a better routine and don't try to kill myself to getting orders out the door , I am really enjoying it. You can find my Facebook fan page Here! Go check it out!! I am pretty excited about it. I love love love to sew. It's my peace. I never knew how much I would truly enjoy it. The creative side of me can get me off track and have multiple projects going at once. :)
The only thing with starting this new little business up is finding a balance for everything. I am a YES person. It is hard for me to say no. I am to much of a people person and I get myself stressed out. I feel now that I a getting a pretty good balance going and this could really work. One day I will not be behind the stylist chair so is a fun little side business to have when that happens one day.
We have been doing lot of lunch date with just her and I... Kind loving it! It is so fun now that she is getting bigger! This was after Gymboree one day!
In other family news we made it through two big road trips for the holidays and Amelia's second birthday. It is nice not to have any bid plans right now. Even though I am dying for a real vacation. :) I go back and forth on if I want just Deric and I to go some where or a kiddo friendly one. Since Deric and I didn't take a honeymoon I am leaning for an adult vacation.
This is kinda a random post... Oh we'll.
After the new year we changed Amelia's crib over to her toddler bad. She LOVES it! She always wants to read up in her bed or take the iPad in there. Her room is pretty little and we never had a place to sit and read besides the floor so it is nice to sit on he bed and read. Plus, I don't have to hike my legs over the side of the crib in the middle of the night when she wakes up. ;) You try to say "no" to that sweet face who says "momma, lay wit me. Snuggle down". Melt my heart cuteness ! I wake up hurting from sleeping in the bed and know inhale complained about it. But, gosh .. One day I will wish she wants me to lay in bed with her till she falls back to sleep.
Our girl is crazy funny! I can't get over the scene of humor this 2 year old has. She comes up with the craziest things to say. I can't even image what she will be saying this coming year. Here are a few quotes that come to mind
" mommy, I better get out (of the bath) cause my toes are Bucky" - she meant wrinkly :)
She was running around the house naked after her bath and I told her she needed to get dressed because I said so and that is how it works! HA she said "this is how my bottom works" Please note she want being mean or disrespectful she was just trying to be funny.. It made us laugh so hard.
She ALWAYS says "just me three minutes" as she holds up her pointer finger! I have no clue where she picked that up.
When she wears a hat she most likely will say "giddy up cowboy! Ye-yaw!"
The other night we were having a tea party as she asked if we wanted honey in our tea! I reliazed just then how much she listens and remembers what I say. I don't drink yea often but I always put honey in it! :)
The sweetest thing she does always is say "bless you" if someone sneezes and says "please and thanks" every time. She may be sassy but she is polite!

Over the Rainbow
We had Amelia's birthday party at Gymboree this year. I knew she would just loved it and I was right! The girl love her some Gymboree days! We go to class every Monday as is. The place is in primary colors so I knew the rainbow theme would be perfect. Since you don't have to decorate much just a table it was low stress. Way easier than last year party!
I did however do some DIY projects and sewing! I went with the chevron rainbow with the main theme. I found chevron fabric a few months back to make Amelia's outfit out of. I had a girl on Etsy who did her invites and the other paper decorations! She was so wonderful to work with and super fast! She matched the colors for the invite perfectly to Amelia's outfit! I love a good theme!
My sister and MIL came for Amelia's party so they were a big help with the decorations since I didn't do anything until the Friday before her party. We made Ribbon Wands and ruffle skirt for the cake table. I made the cupcakes and rainbow popcorn. All the projects were fun and pretty easy to do they were just a little time consuming.
Here is a photo overload of the party!! I was so thankful for our all friends who came to make Amelia feel so very special! She truly had a wonderful time!

I found this idea for the table cloth on Pintrest and came up with it on my own. My sis and MIL helped a tone with it!
Another idea I pinned!
These cookies are the CUTEST!!! Holly made them.. here is her blog
