Here is your hair tip of the week....
How to diffuse your natural curly hair.
Most of you that have curly hair probably already use a diffuser. But I get asked if they are using the diffuser correctly. Some people still get a lot of frizz in the hair after they diffuse and that is not good. The Diffuser is suppose to eliminate more or all the frizz if you use it correctly. This video is how I style my hair when I wear it curly. I hope you learn something from it!
Here are a few other things I didn't mention in the video. If your hair is ringlet curls, try twisting your hair around it's self then diffuse it. It will dry better and then just take a curl paste and seperate. If you plan on putting your hair up after you dry it... make sure it is all the way dry or your curls will frizz. Remember no squeezing\ scrunching the hair until it is pretty much dry!!! Let the diffuser do the work!!!!
This is the picture with the curling iron used.
I just picked up pieces of hair and curled them with my 3\4 in. iron

Oh wow, thanks so much for this!!! I hate the wet look on my hair when I wear it curl, but I ALWAYS get that. Love all the hair tips...keep them coming, and I want to give a shout out to Robin Waggoner, thanks so much for telling me about Amanda's blog!!!
ReplyDeletehmmm i think i break a lot of your curly hair tips! maybe that's my problem! i NEVER EVER blow dry my hair - i've never used a diffuser. i use a spray gel (herbal essence) AND a small, small dab of the squirt in your palm gel (herbal essence) and then let it air dry. which stinks cuz ya i never know how my hairs gonna turn out for like an hour (that's how long it takes to dry)!
ReplyDeletethanks for the tips - i love 'em! :)
Love the blog! I will definately keep playing with the "curly" look. You always make it look SOOOO easy! Can't wait to see what you cover next :0)
