Thanks Babe!

I have yet another reason to be thankful for my wonderful husband. He designed my blogs new look! Now I could sit down and do it... but I don't have the patience! He is so much better at lining every thing up to make it just perfect. He can also do the header and make all my buttons which I would go CRAZY doing!  I just tell him what I want it to look like! This design is by far my favorite. Not only does it have our sweet girl on the header it has my most favorite shades of PINK!!  So THANK YOU very much sweetie.... you rock! Not only did he work on my blog Saturday he shoveled our way out of the house! Look at all this snow!

We have still been in the house this weekend... due to laziness, snow, and COLD! Although I did run out to Wal-Mart yesterday. Yes, I FINALLY got out of the house. Deric stayed with Amelia so she wasn't out in the cold. I was so happy to be out of the house even for just an hour. But let me tell you Wal-Mart was a mad house. I have never seen it so busy... and the parking lot was a HUGE mess. People were parked all weird because no one plowed the parking lot. I circled the parking lot for about 5 minutes before I found a spot pretty far down and in a good 6 inches of snow... nice.
My plan for shopping was to get in and out as quick as I could.... right *sigh*.  It seemed like everyone who saw a friendly face stopped to get caught up... right in the middle of isle! UGH.... now I like to stop and say hi to friends but really stopping in the middle of a narrow isle to have a 1\2 hour chat is not acceptable when there is a MILLION people shopping. I was at there for longer than I wanted and once I got to the checkout I was already missing little A. I even showed the checkout lady a picture of little A! I bought Amelia a few shirts and she asked if they were for my baby. I could have lit up the whole store with the smile and tingle I got when she said Amelia was very cute. :)  I was proud I didn't call Deric to see how she was.... of course I thought of it a few times. He is a great daddy... I have totally trust in him. I should have bought him snow boots... he shoveled in his leather loafers!

Needless to say I was glad to get out of the house... I was stir crazy! It was the first time in almost 3 weeks that I drove. It was only the 2nd time beside leaving the hospital that I was out of the house! As I sat behind the wheel I thought to myself.... first drive for me being a mommy.... BE CAREFUL.  It will be weird to drive with Amelia is the back for the first time. I am sure I will go like 10 miles per hour! I need one of those signs.."Baby on Board". I don't know if anyone when they see those signs are more cautious but I know I am. I would like to think people are.

And because I can't write a post without posting new pictures of Amelia ... I would be getting a call from my sister.

"Auntie Jen... does my face tell you how I feel about the huge flower you made me on my head??? But my mommy makes me wear it and tells me I am super cute." ~Amelia
