I am sorry I have bee slacking. But I have come down with a bad sinus infection over the weekend. I decided Monday morning to call our family doctor. I knew I didn't feel well and probably had a fever too. When I got to the doctor'f office I had a fever of 101.2. I couldn't believe it was that high. So far I think Amelia and Deric are fine. I just hope and pray I don't give it to either of them. I keep checking Amelia's temp. It is so hard to when they are that little. We have a pacifier thermometer but she doesn't like the nipple on it so she wont suck on it. So I just use the regular one under her arm. I thought about buying one of those head ones... you just slide it over the forehead. They are 50 bucks.... are they worth it?? Who has one for their little ones???

Ok... now I am mad! I keep being told I have run out of room for pictures. It wont let me upload anymore! I am going to have to buy more space or deleted some others. Which I am not wanting to delete any because I will loose them off of my blog completely. We will have to figure it out. Because I have more pictures!!
What do other bloggers do when they run out of space??
I've never run out of space before, and I put lots of pictures on. I would try again in another day or so - Blogger is weird sometimes.

ReplyDeleteAnd the forehead one (that we bought) does not work at all. This morning when I was driving to work I was thinking how I needed to make that question (What is a good thermometer) my fb status so I could get some good feedback! For several months when Lincoln had all his ear infections I would check his temp rectally. It was always sooo acurate. However, now he is much strong and its near impossible to do it that way. I need to find a good one and even if that means spending a little more.

Hate that you are sick. :( I also got put on antibiotics yesterday for a sinus infection and feel terrible today! Hoping the meds kicks in by the weekend...no fever with mine, so hopefully Doug & Ana Kate won't get it.
ReplyDeleteI have TONS of pictures on blogger and haven't run out of room yet, but have had issues on one or two occasions because blogger was having an issue. Since 2009 I have also re-sized my images to 72 dpi in photoshop so they take up much less space which helps. Also, if you do run out of room another solution is to load all your pictures into flickr and then just add the flickr links in blogger for your pics....that's what I've done in the past when blogger has issues.
As to the forehead thermometer, we do have one (bought it at Sam's...don't remember how much it was...maybe $39) and I love it! You can get varying temperatures depending on where you take it from, but I usually just do it two or three times until I get a consistant reading. It's always been very accurate and we've had it about 2.5 years.
